Research Shows Internet-based Medical Education to be Effective

The Journal of the American Medical Association September 2008 report, "Internet-Based Learning in the Health Professions – A Meta-analysis", examined over 200 studies that compared online instruction—such as practice cases, e-mail and Internet chat, tutorials and conferencing to traditional classroom education.
